Major Bradley D. Pemberton

Bradley Duane Pemberton was born on June 17, 1970, the second son of Jackson and Charlet Pemberton. He was born in a hospital in Murray City, Salt Lake County, Utah, and weighed 9 pounds. The most recent years of his life were devoted to service to his native country, the United States of America, a land he cherished and defended with his life.

Major Pemberton passed away en route to his assignment to Michigan, where he and others on his team were to observe existing technology in action as part of their self-education for their mission: R&D for fully integrated surveillance, threat detection and reporting, and deployment of defensive weaponry. The official date and time were set as September 29, 2026 at 12:01 am.

This page is a small collection of our memories of this magnificent man. He was loved and deeply valued by his companions in the US Army. They enthusiastically reported that he was a brilliant leader who studied, understood, and clearly communicated the intricacies of his command. He knew the individuals on his team and anticipated their needs as soldiers and human beings, addressing both with grace and feeling. They were visibly eager to tell us who attended his memorial service in Hawaii on October 7, 2026, and to express their heartfelt gratitude for having served under Brad’s direction and care. That service, held on the Joint Base Pearl Harbor, included tributes to his service and a 21 gun salute.

Major Basinger was with Brad on their flight to Michigan and was intimately involved in attempts to prolong his life. This link, https://vimeo.com/1234558635, will take you to a video of his remarks in an intimate setting at the hotel where he related what he knew about the passing of his comrade in arms.

Details for the funeral are still in process of details being established.
