Deed to George Pemberton dated 20 January 1702

To all X:tian (Christians) to whom these presents come,


Greeting know yee. that I Richard Littlepage of New Kent County Gent (Gentleman):  for and in consideration of Two Thousand six hundred pounds of good sweetained tobacco and cash convenient already paid unto my father Richard Littlepage who was the exor (executor) in trust of the estate of Mr. Sam’l Osteen [Austin] dec’d by John Pemberton dec’d of the same County have given, granted, aliened, sold, enfeoffed, confirmed, and firmly made over, and do by these presents give, grant, alien, sell, enfeoff, confirm and firmly make over to George Pemberton son of the aforesaid Jno Pemberton dec’d his heirs and assigns forever, one hundred and eighty four acres of land lying and being in “Pamunkey Neck” now King William County and bounded as followeth, beginning at a red oak in Collo (Colonel) Pates line running thence North forty sixd (degrees) West eighty and a half chains to a red oak Corner of the said Pates, so along his line South forty eight degrees West, ninety one chains to Thomas Husbands line, thence along by his & Henry Madisons line South east ninty three chaines to another red oak corner, thence North thirty two degrees East sixty two chains, thence North fifty two degrees East thirty one chains to the place where it first began.  To Have and to hold the said one hundred and eighty four acres of land, together with all houses and fices (fences ?), buildings, conveniences and appertenances whatever or of what kind or quality and in as full large and complex manner as land is usually held or granted in this colony the said one hundred eighty four acres of land being part of a patent of land of two thousand three hundred sixty seven acres, granted to Richard Littlepage aforsaid the same bearing date ___  and the said Richard Littlepage doth for himself his heirs exoo (executor), and admer (administrator ?), coven’t, promise and agree that he and they will forever warrant and do find the afore mentioned tract of land to the afore said George Pemberton his heirs and assigns for ever from all manner of persons whatsoever and doth further oblige himself to execute this his deed by acknowledging of it in King William County Court. 
In testamony where of I have here unto set my hand and seal this 20th day of January Anno Dom 1702, and in the first year of the reign of our sovereign Lord,  Anne (Queen of England in 1702) by the grace of God, of England, Scotland, France, and Ireland.  Queen defender of the faith&c (&c = and so forth ?).
