My wife Dannie remembered from her own experiences and from things told to her by her mother, brother, and sisters the following:

1. Her father's name was Virgil Leonadas (or Leonidas) Little
2. He had siblings named - Hazel, Bunyon, Wilks, Geneva, and Allen.

No one in the family recalled the name of Virgil's father or mother, however, based on family stories it would appear that most of them lived in Texas at one time or another.

Since Dannie was born in 1938 there was a good possibility that Virgil might have been born prior to 1920. This led us to order a Soundex search of the 1920 Texas census and, if the family was found, a copy of the complete census page.

Our census search was a total success summarized below.

6. Virgil Little; Son; Age 12; Born AR; Father born AR; Mother born MS.
7. Geneva Little; Daughter; Age 7; Born TX; Father born AR; Mother born MS.
8. Allen Little; Son; Age 4 1/12; Born TX; Father born AR; Mother born MS.

As far as children are concerned we have a perfect match! No doubt this is the correct family.

Knowing the father and mother of Virgil opened several new doors for research.

Proving T.B. was in Arkansas where he was supposed to be according to the other sources outlined above.

This showed T.B. in NC also where he should have been.
