Coincidence Beyond Belief!

In one of those coincidents that happen too often to be conincidental, Graham Pemberton of Tarvin, Cheshire, UK launched PembertonFamily.Net on almost the same day as Jackson Pemberton of Copalis Beach, Washington, US launched PembertonFamily.Com: both aimed at the publication of Pemberton family histories and genealogy. Of further interest perhaps, is the fact that Jackson tried to call Graham last April while Jackson was in the UK with his wife Charlet finishing up an almost two-year stint as volunteers on a church-owned farm in Norfolk. They had been in the Chester Record Office and while shopping were directed out Capenhurst Lane where they found some very friendly Pemberton families by accident – almost, and the latter gave the former an old local telephone directory so they could call the Pembertons therein. Jackson rang up Graham who was undoubtedly away at work so they missed one another by a few inches as it were, but now they have connected over the internet and are collaborating on all things Pemberton. They both have chosen TNG as the software of choice for the publication of genealogical data. Both sites are under construction although Graham’s looks much better than Jackson’s at this writing.
