We Have Another “Huguenot” in the DNA Project

April 23, 2014 – Results are in for the latest DNA sample and he is a 100% match (all 37 markers) for two others in the Project. These are Pembertons from Manakintown, Virginia Colony. We aren’t certain of the French connection for this branch of the Pemberton family, but most the people in Manakintown were of French descent. This particular sample is of great value to its donor because he had almost no records of his ancestry and was really up against a brick wall. This proof of his tight connection to two other PFWW members who have documentary data on their lines will be most valuable to him.
