Site Standards
The following guidelines are intended to add unity and a sense of order to pembertonfamily.com. Adherence to them is not mandatory but they should be violated only with good reason. We make no attempt to control content or structure of the sites of individual families, except as noted under Forbidden Publications below.
In the Publication Guidelines, some are denoted with an asterisk (*). This means the guideline is mandatory for tier 2 pages. If you don't know what tier 2 means, you aren't working on it.Publication Guidelines
Fonts: * Use only HTML fonts (with the font tag: font face="verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif"). Page headers are font size=5 and body text is font size=3.
Colors: The only other thing I specified are the font and link colors and the background image (which can be found in pembertonfamily.com/imgs/then_bg.gif... or now_bg.gif, depending).
Forbidden Publications
We make no attempt to control content or structure of the sites of individual families, except:
- No illegal publication will be tolerated. This applies to content and/or function and/or processes of anything published. Content includes links to other sites. The fact that other illegal things may be unmentioned here does not prevent the Administrator from removing the published material.
- No pornographic or otherwise illicit material will be tolerated. Again this applies to content, function, and processes.
- The Administrator may elect to remove other materials he deems inappropriate.
